The company is putting up objects with a total area of over 600 square meters
JSC Ukrzaliznytsia plans to lease out two vacant premises at the Odesa railway station. The company expects to attract additional funds and reduce expenses for infrastructure maintenance. This was reported by Delo.ua, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The state railway operator has listed spaces that are not currently used in operational processes for an upcoming auction. Representatives of the company note that leasing out the property will help optimize expenses on utilities and maintenance of the station building.
Before the bidding starts, the railway company plans to organize an event for business representatives. At this meeting, potential tenants will be informed about auction participation terms and presented with detailed information on the commercial real estate objects.
Lease spaces in Odesa
The first lot is a 415.5 square meter space for a catering establishment. The object is located in the facade part of the station’s left wing, facing Starosinna Street, and includes the right to sell excisable goods.
The second lot is a 187.8 square meter retail space intended for food and non-food goods. The premises is located near the exit to the platform from Starosinna Street.
This is not the first such initiative by the state company this year. Back in April, Ukrzaliznytsia conducted a series of auctions, leasing out commercial spaces for vending machines, ATMs, storage facilities, and food points in various regions of the country.
