Attacks targeted facilities in Leningrad and Rostov regions and Krasnodar Krai
On the night of August 30, 2026, Ukrainian forces attacked a series of strategic facilities within the territory of the Russian Federation. An oil refinery, a drone base, and a military airfield were among the targets. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On the night of August 30, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces carried out a successful attack on facilities supporting the military logistics and combat operations of the Russian army. Specifically, in the Leningrad region, the Kirishi oil refinery was targeted, with a fire breaking out on the enterprise’s grounds following the strikes.
This facility, known as Kirishinefteorgsintez, ranks second in the Russian Federation by oil refining capacity and is a key fuel supplier for Russian occupation forces. The plant, which produces aviation fuel and diesel, has an annual capacity of approximately 20 million tons.
Attacks on Russian military infrastructure
Beyond the oil sector, a base in Millerovo, Rostov region, was hit. The facility, used by the enemy for storing and launching attack drones, was destroyed.
The Yeysk airfield, located in Krasnodar Krai, was also targeted. A fire broke out on the premises following the Ukrainian strike, and the extent of the damage is currently being assessed.
The Ukrainian military command states that operations to neutralize critical enemy assets within the Russian Federation are ongoing. Information regarding the full extent of the damage is being verified by relevant units.
