The aid amount has changed for families whose income has fluctuated by more than 50 percent
The Pension Fund of Ukraine has carried out an automatic recalculation of housing subsidies in August. The adjustment concerns households where the average monthly aggregate income has increased or decreased by more than 50 percent. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing information from PFU.
Within the established deadline for assigning aid, the state institution conducts adjustments twice a year — in March and August — for the amounts received by citizens to pay for housing and utility services. The procedure is performed without the participation of recipients and does not require the submission of any additional applications or visits to territorial offices.
The August recalculation is based on comparing the average monthly aggregate income of households. Specialists compared data for the 1st and 2nd quarters of 2026 with income information obtained in the 3rd and 4th quarters of the previous year. These latter figures were used as the basis when assigning subsidies in May of the current year.
Payment adjustment mechanism
If the comparison results indicate a deviation in income levels of more than 50 percent, the financial aid amount is subject to mandatory review. Such a system allows for an operational response to changes in the financial status of families and keeps state support volumes updated based on real income metrics.
Ukrainians can check the updated calculation results independently through the agency’s web resource. To access the data, it is necessary to log in to the personal account on the Pension Fund’s electronic services portal using a qualified electronic signature, Diia.Pidpys, or the ID.GOV.UA system.
Verification of updated data
After authorization, the user needs to open the “My Subsidy” section in the left menu of the website. It displays the current payment amount, formed taking into account the adjustment carried out in August.
These actions are carried out in accordance with the Regulation on the Procedure for Assigning Housing Subsidies, which was approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 848 dated October 21, 1995. In accordance with point 92 of this regulatory act, the automation of the recalculation is a necessary measure to ensure the targeting of social aid in Ukraine.
