Mykhailo Fedorov has announced the launch of his own defense tech company. The key investor for the project will be Palantir CEO Alex Karp. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Лев Шевченко), according to the portal PromPolitInform.
Mykhailo Fedorov announced his intention to develop a personal defense technology structure during a visit to Washington. The meeting took place on August 31 at the Palantir corporate office, where the parties discussed further cooperation and a vision for the development of new technologies.
Alex Karp, who leads Palantir, noted the importance of the Ukrainian experience in modern warfare. He emphasized that the partnership with Fedorov is based on a long-term interaction that has been ongoing for five years and an intention to translate acquired knowledge into effective solutions for allied nations.
Investments and technology development
The new company aims to scale the expertise gained during the transformation of Ukraine’s defense sector. Fedorov stressed that ensuring the state’s defensive capacity remains his priority in the course of his future activities.
Developments planned within the project are intended to strengthen the Ukrainian army and expand cooperation with foreign partners. According to the plans, the team will utilize skills acquired while working on technological solutions during the full-scale invasion by the rf.
International activity and background
Mykhailo Fedorov held the position of Minister of Defence of Ukraine from January to July 2026. Following his departure from the government, he focused on international defense initiatives, notably receiving the status of advisor to the Italian Minister of Defence Guido Crosetto in late August 2026.
Details regarding the technical focus of the newly established company and its investment structure will be released at a later date. Currently, official representatives are focused on finalizing strategic agreements and planning the initial stages of product development.
