Piotr Lukasiewicz names the Kremlin regime as the primary source of evil in Europe for 300 years

The Polish diplomat confirmed that his country's society clearly identifies russia as its main enemy

Chargé d'affaires of Poland to Ukraine Piotr Lukasiewicz stated that the Kremlin has been the primary source of regional instability and suffering for the last 300 years. The diplomat emphasized the solidarity of the Polish people in evaluating the threats posed by the russian federation. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Олена Чупровська), according to the portal PromPolitInform.

According to the Polish diplomatic representative, the history of international relations in this part of the world proves that moral and political destruction is orchestrated from Moscow. Piotr Lukasiewicz noted that despite possible points of debate between the two nations, the strategic understanding of the true aggressor remains unchanged.

Threat assessment and history

The diplomat agreed with the position of the Ukrainian Ambassador to Poland, Vasyl Bodnar, that russia is the only real enemy for both nations. This outlook is supported not only by political statements but also by sociological research reflecting the sentiments of Polish society.

The mass arrival of Ukrainian citizens fleeing the war served for Poles as both an act of fraternal support and a realization of their own historical experience in fighting against imperial encroachment. In this context, russia is perceived as the root cause of most problems currently emerging in European security.

The Polish approach to negotiations

Previously, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stressed the necessity for Warsaw’s participation in any international negotiations concerning the conclusion of hostilities. The head of the Polish government has repeatedly expressed skepticism regarding narrow dialogue formats like E3, which includes only the UK, Germany, and France.

Furthermore, Polish authorities maintain a consistent stance on supporting Ukraine’s defense sector. Despite internal political pressure from opposition forces, the Tusk government rejects calls to block military funding or reconstruction programs for Ukrainian infrastructure.
