Two injured men have been hospitalized with light injuries
On the morning of October 6, Russian forces attacked a bridge across the Dnipro River in Zaporizhzhia. The strike injured two civilians and led to the temporary closure of the bridge to traffic. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine (Катерина Коваль) citing Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
Two men, aged 43 and 54, sustained injuries in the strike. Both victims were hospitalized, and doctors reported that their conditions are light.
Traffic across the bridge is currently fully blocked. Specialists are examining the site to determine the full extent of the damage caused by the strike.
Systematic Strikes on Dnipro River Bridges
Russian forces have recently intensified attacks on bridges spanning the Dnipro River across various regions. Over the past week, strikes were also recorded against key transport routes in Kyiv.
On October 1, two drones struck the Pivdennyi Bridge in Kyiv, with a evening attack damaging its support pillar and road surface. Later, on the morning of October 3, the Pivnichnyi Bridge in the capital was targeted, resulting in damaged road pavement and trolleybus power lines.
