The government approved the Commission's protocol on providing support for the purchase of energy sources
The Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine has approved a decision to provide state aid for the purchase of alternative power sources for apartment buildings. The corresponding order No. 2131 was signed on October 6, 2026. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing information from the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine.
In accordance with the published regulatory act, the agency adopted the protocol of the Commission meeting, which handled issues of financial support for co-owners of residential apartment buildings. The program is aimed at strengthening the energy autonomy of the housing stock by incentivizing the purchase of independent power generators.
Supporting energy efficiency in the apartment sector
The ministry’s decision is part of a broader energy efficiency development strategy being implemented amid challenges to critical infrastructure. Receiving such assistance allows residents of apartment buildings to ensure a stable power supply during potential outages caused by the armed aggression of the russian federation.
Assistance delivery mechanism
The document regulates the procedure for fund distribution and determines the criteria by which the commission made decisions on providing financing. The publication of order No. 2131 officially consolidates the selection results and paves the way for the further implementation of measures to support co-owner associations.
