Analysts reviewed diplomatic contacts between Washington and Moscow
Russia has failed to make any reciprocal steps or offer concessions to the United States regarding the Ukrainian issue in exchange for a diesel agreement. This is stated by analysts at the American Institute for the Study of War. This was reported by Institute for the Study of War, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
Researchers at the American Institute for the Study of War recorded a complete absence of any concessions from Moscow concerning the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine. According to experts, the conclusion of energy or fuel arrangements was not accompanied by any concessions regarding Ukrainian territories or security guarantees.
The institute’s report notes that such economic and commodity deals are used by the Kremlin solely in its own interests without altering its strategic position in the war. Analysts emphasize that Washington did not receive any reciprocal diplomatic bonuses or concessions from the Russian side.
Experts continue to monitor the development of international negotiations and the reaction of Western partners to the Kremlin’s energy policy. The research center regularly publishes reviews on the course of hostilities and related diplomatic maneuvers.
