US Treasury issues temporary license for fuel shipments
The American leader announced an agreement with the Russian president regarding the delivery of millions of tons of Russian diesel fuel to the United States and global markets. The US Department of the Treasury, following the president's directive, is immediately issuing a special permit for these transactions. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Crimean Wind.
The arrangement entails the immediate shipment of an initial 300,000-ton batch of fuel. Another 500,000 tons are scheduled to arrive in November, with an additional one million tons to follow later.
Looking ahead, total supply volumes could potentially increase by another three million tons. These measures are being implemented to supply domestic and global energy markets.
The US Department of the Treasury is acting directly under the head of state’s instructions. The temporary license establishes legal conditions for the unobstructed movement of petroleum products.
