Kyiv awaits detailed information from the American side
Volodymyr Zelenskyy held talks with Mark Carney, Alexander Stubb, and Mark Rutte regarding the initiative of US President Donald Trump. The parties discussed the proposal for an energy ceasefire. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The President of Ukraine announced consultations with a number of international leaders and representatives of financial institutions. The main item on the agenda was the statement by Donald Trump regarding the introduction of an energy-based ceasefire regime.
Details of diplomatic consultations
The head of state reaffirmed Kyiv’s readiness to participate in measures aimed at de-escalating the conflict and saving lives. Currently, official Ukrainian representatives are waiting for further clarifications regarding the implementation mechanisms of the American proposal.
To achieve a sustainable and long-term peace, Kyiv continues to support initiatives capable of halting hostilities. Ukraine’s position remains unchanged regarding the necessity for all parties to the conflict, including Russia, to implement the relevant decisions.
