Russia carries out one of the largest attacks on Ukrenergo facilities on October 14

The enemy targeted the company substations using ballistic missiles

On October 14, Russian forces carried out a massive attack using ballistic missiles on Ukrenergo electrical substations. As a result of the strikes, the energy infrastructure suffered equipment losses. This was reported by Glavcom, according to the portal PromPolitInform.

Vitaliy Zaychenko, Chairman of the Management Board of Ukrenergo, announced large-scale damage during his speech at the Business Energy forum organized by Forbes Ukraine in Kyiv. According to him, the primary priority for the company right now is to quickly restore the damaged elements of the system.

Ballistic strikes on energy infrastructure

The head of the energy company emphasized that the aggressor used ballistic missiles for the shelling, which caused serious problems with equipment operation. Today was one of the most massive attacks involving ballistics and corresponding equipment loss, and therefore the primary challenge is the possibility of rapid restoration, Zaychenko noted.

Strikes on substations continue and pose a persistent threat to the stability of electricity supply in the country. Power engineers continue working to eliminate the consequences of this latest massive strike.
