In the third quarter, the NBU BankID system was used 33.2 million times for identity verification
The Armiya+ mobile application has been connected to the National Bank of Ukraine's BankID system to simplify authorization for military personnel. In the third quarter of 2026, a total of 33.2 million successful identifications were conducted using this tool. This was reported by Minfin citing the National Bank of Ukraine, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The integration represents another stage in the cooperation between the defense ministry and the regulator. A similar mechanism was previously implemented for access to the Rezerv+ service, allowing those liable for military service to verify their identity more quickly.
New participants in the identification system
In addition to the military app, several other organizations joined the BankID network during the specified period. Among them is the 112 Ukraine mobile product, developed for communication with emergency services even in the absence of an internet connection, as well as the My Passport Service application for document processing.
Furthermore, users of the National Technical University of Ukraine Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute gained access to internal digital tools through this method. The list of newly connected entities was supplemented by financial institutions TERRA CREDIT, CREDIT TU, and MEGA CREDIT, which use BankID for remote client verification when providing credit services.
Usage statistics
According to the regulator, the number of successful identifications in the third quarter of 2026 increased by 1% compared to the previous period. The system processed an average of about 360,000 transactions daily.
At present, the infrastructure includes 37 identification institutions and 120 service providers. Thanks to technical integration, users gain fast access to public and private services without the need for physical visits to government offices.
