Strike units hit the launcher and the loading vehicle of the invaders
Soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine have neutralized a Russian Smerch multiple launch rocket system. Enemy equipment, which had been shelling civilian areas in the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions, was destroyed by the Lasar’s Group unit. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Oleksandr Pivnenko.
A successful operation to eliminate enemy equipment was carried out by fighters from the Lasar’s Group unit. In addition to the BM-30 Smerch launcher, National Guard soldiers also hit the transport-loading vehicle that supported the complex’s operation.
Search and target acquisition
The process of destroying Russian artillery took place in several phases. First, intelligence specialists analyzed data on the intensity of enemy shelling, which allowed them to narrow down the search area for the enemy’s weaponry. Subsequently, the unit’s aerial reconnaissance identified the position where the occupiers were concealing the equipment, about 60 kilometers from the front line.
Results of combat operations
After receiving visual confirmation of the targets, the drone crews launched strikes on the specified coordinates. The attacks resulted in the complete loss of both the launcher and the loading vehicle by the enemy unit. The systemic actions of the guardsmen are aimed at reducing the enemy’s combat potential and minimizing risks for residents of Ukraine’s frontline regions.
