The DELTA battle system recorded strikes on nearly 248,000 fixed-wing drones
Since the beginning of 2026, units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine have struck 408,000 enemy unmanned aerial vehicles. All hits were recorded on video within the DELTA system and verified by the Brave1 defence innovation cluster. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing information from the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
The full record of strikes against enemy unmanned aircraft was verified by the Brave1 defence innovation cluster within the DELTA digital battlefield management platform. Each recorded incident includes mandatory video confirmation.
The neutralisation of hundreds of thousands of hostile drones helped safeguard the lives of Ukrainian service members and civilians in frontline areas.
Breakdown of Downed Wings, Copters and Strike UAVs
Over the span of nearly ten months in 2026, Ukrainian defenders disabled almost 248,000 enemy fixed-wing drones. This category covers operational and tactical-level reconnaissance and artillery-spotting unmanned platforms.
Furthermore, military personnel destroyed nearly 125,000 tactical copters used by the opposing force for munition drops and frontline reconnaissance. The tally of neutralised targets also includes more than 35,000 Shahed-type strike drones.
Battlefield Digitisation via the DELTA Platform
Entering data into DELTA forms the core of modern combat management, granting Ukrainian forces an edge over the enemy. A unified verification process makes it possible to track the specific circumstances of every enemy drone interception.
Using verified records, specialists can rapidly refine and scale the counter-drone methods that deliver the highest operational impact. In September, military personnel logged 1.8 million mission outcomes into the Mission Control module of the platform to support analysis and future planning.
