Registration has opened in Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions for cash assistance to cover winter utility costs. The program is implemented under the humanitarian initiative “Together in Safety and Warmth” and is carried out by the Posmishka UA Foundation in partnership with international donors. This was reported by Pershyi Biznesovyi and conveyed by the PromPolitInform portal.
The assistance is intended for households using centralized, gas, or electric heating. Priority is given to internally displaced persons (IDPs), families of military personnel, single mothers, pensioners aged 60+, persons with disabilities, and large families.
Applications are accepted online until November 5, 2025. After registration, applicants undergo eligibility verification as well as checks to prevent duplication of assistance—whether cash-based, fuel-related, or compensatory. The amount of support depends on the type of heating and the number of people in the household.
The program covers:
- Zaporizhzhia city
- Kharkiv city
- Apostolove and Hrushivka communities, Dnipropetrovsk region
The initiative aims to support the most vulnerable groups amid energy instability and rising heating costs.
