Kyiv Oblast Among the Leaders: Region Ranked in the Top 5 for Digitalization Rates

The Kyiv Oblast continues to cement its status as one of the most digitally advanced regions in the country. According to the latest data from the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development, the Kyiv Oblast ranked fourth in the national ranking for the rate of completion and verification of the Unified State Register of Addresses (EDRA). This was reported by Life.kyiv.ua and the PromPolitInform portal.

These aren’t just dry numbers in a database, but a foundation for the rapid operation of emergency services, logistics, and transparent restoration.

Over half a million precise coordinates

As of early February, approximately 87% of all addresses in the region had already been processed. Of these, over 56%—over 575,000 objects—had undergone full verification. In absolute terms, the Kyiv Oblast demonstrates one of the highest results in Ukraine, demonstrating the systematic work of communities even under martial law and energy challenges. Taras Bakai, First Deputy Head of the Kyiv Regional Office for the Development of the City of Kyiv, noted that coordination with communities allows for the creation of a unified, reliable map of the region. For the average resident, this means that mail, ambulances, and couriers will find the right entrance without any questions, and government services will be provided more quickly thanks to automated data verification.

Excellent Communities: Who Achieved 100% Performance

While the region as a whole is nearing completion, 30 communities in the Kyiv region have already effectively completed this process, reaching 99-100%. The Fursovskoye, Kozhanskoye, Voronkovskoye, and Ivankovskoye communities have emerged as true leaders—they have fully completed address registration and verification.

The Studenykivska, Berezanska, and Polieska communities are also close behind, with over 99% of data verified. This pace allows the Kyiv region to claim full completion of the address inventory in the near future, which will be an important step in the digital transformation of the entire capital region.
