Ukrposhta is subjected to regular attacks due to the execution of a contract with the Ministry of Defense to send out summons. About this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine said the general director of Ukrposhta Igor Smelyansky, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
He confirmed that currently 100% of liable employees of Ukrposhta have reservations. However, he stressed that this status is not a privilege, but a consequence of the recognition of the company as an object of critical military infrastructure.
We were given a reservation not for the fact that we are Ukrposhta, but for the fact that we are a military infrastructure. We have a contract with the Ministry of Defense to distribute summons… We suffered for this booking, because no one says how many branches we are burning and how many we are repairing them. This is already worth millions of hryvnias. Almost every week we are burned by the department for what we distribute, “Smelyansky explained.
Since the end of 2024, Ukrposhta has officially assumed the functions of delivering recommended letters with agendas. This automated the process of notifying those liable for military service, since the signature of receipt (or act of refusal) became a legal fact of delivery.
The postal system was integrated with the register “Oberig.” This made it possible to form agendas with the electronic signature of the head of the CCC, which Ukrposhta massively prints and delivers to the addresses of residence. In 2026, Ukrposhta also began to ensure the delivery of court decisions and fines for violation of military accounting rules.
On January 23, the premiere of the Natsopera Krivokony deprived the armor of mobilization due to participation in the Russian ballet.
On January 21, President Zelensky stressed that 100% of power engineers and public utilities will receive a reservation from mobilization.
