Wednesday, February 18, in Geneva began the second round of negotiations between Ukraine, the United States and Russia to resolve the war.
This was announcedby Secretary of the NSDC Rustem Umerov, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
He specified that consultations are already taking place within the framework of the political and military blocs.
“We are working on clarifying the parameters and mechanics of the decisions discussed yesterday,” said Umerov.
The Minister also added that the Ukrainian delegation is committed to substantive work. He also promised to separately inform about the results of the meeting.
On February 18, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that the appointment of Vladimir Medinsky as the head of the Russian delegation creates the risk of delaying the negotiations in Geneva.
On February 17, trilateral peace talks between Ukraine, the United States and the Russian Federation ended in Geneva. Negotiations continued on February 18.
