Regarding “Druzhba”. Delegation from Hungary that arrived in Ukraine has no official status, – MFA

A group of Hungarian citizens that arrived in Ukraine this morning has no official status or planned official meetings. This was reported by “Ukrainian News“, the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Georgy Tykhy, reported, “European Truth” on Wednesday, March 11. The PromPolitInform portal informs.

Tykhy noted that the Hungarian citizens arrived in Ukraine using a visa-free regime and according to general rules. According to him, any tourists from the Schengen countries come to Ukraine according to the same procedure.

“On the territory of Ukraine, this group of people has no official status or planned official meetings, so it is definitely incorrect to call them a “delegation”, – the MFA spokesman emphasized.

In addition, Tykhyi stressed that citizens of other states who comply with the rules of stay and respect Ukraine can stay on the territory of our state.

As reported, on March 11, a delegation of the Ministry of Energy of Hungary, headed by State Secretary Gabor Čepek, began a visit to Ukraine.

As a reminder, on March 10, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico stated that European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen supported the proposal to send an inspection team to Ukraine and find out the condition of the Druzhba oil pipeline.
