Ukrainian strike drones reached the Urals for the first time and attacked Yekaterinburg and Chelyabinsk, covering up to 1,800 kilometers deep in Russia’s rear. This was reported by “Military“, reports the PromPolitInform portal.
According to preliminary estimates, the actual flight range may be greater, since calculations of the distance from the state border of Ukraine do not take into account the exact launch locations.
Information about the attack was also confirmed by the governor of the Sverdlovsk region, Denis Pasler, and the governor of the Chelyabinsk region, Oleksiy Teksler.
This is not the first time that Ukraine has carried out strikes at long distances. In particular, previously, drones have repeatedly attacked facilities in the city of Orsk, located approximately 1,400 kilometers from the border.
