A new stage of the state’s digital transformation was presented in Ukraine: 22 new services have already been launched in “Diya”, 5G testing has started in several cities, and the development and testing of an AI service for the provision of public services is also underway.
Members of the Committee on Digital Transformation took part in the Mintsyfra Summit 2026, during which they discussed the development of digital services, the use of artificial intelligence and the further digitalization of public processes in Ukraine. As reported by the PromPolitInform portal, this was reported by “Sudovo-Yurydychna Gazeta“.
During the event, it was noted that Ukraine is moving to a new stage of digital transformation: if earlier the main focus was on converting documents and services into digital format (Digital First), now they plan to focus on artificial intelligence technologies (AI First).
The summit participants also spoke about the concept of the so-called “Agentic State”, within which digital systems and algorithms should automate some of the state services and processes.
Among the results announced during the event:
22 new services were launched in the “Diya” application and portal;
5G pilot projects were launched in Borodyanka and Kharkiv;
resident companies of “Diya.City” paid over UAH 17 billion in taxes to the state budget.
Plans for the future were presented separately. In particular, we are talking about the launch of “Diya.AI” — an AI assistant for state services. According to the Ministry of Digital Affairs, the service has already been tested by about 350 thousand users who have sent over 2 million messages.
The scaling of digital reforms in state administration, the development of digital education, the training of cybersecurity specialists, and support for projects in the field of digital defense were also named among the priorities.
In addition, the authorities plan to expand the “Diya.City” space, launch the “Diya.City Invest” platform, and develop 5G high-speed communication infrastructure to attract investments and technology companies.
The summit was attended by more than 300 participants, including people’s deputies, representatives of state bodies, business, the scientific community, and international partners.
