On May 15, Ukraine lifted restrictions on crossing the border for all women without exception. The Cabinet of Ministers made the corresponding decision. This was reported by “Slovo i Dilo” (Word and Deed), Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko on her Telegram channel. The PromPolitInform portal informs.
“The government is lifting restrictions on crossing the border for all women without exception, regardless of their positions in state authorities, local governments, state enterprises and courts,” she wrote.
It should be noted that on May 6, the government lifted restrictions on traveling abroad for female employees of state authorities, local governments and state enterprises.
At the same time, these changes did not apply to government officials, in particular, heads of ministries and central executive bodies, employees of the Office of the President, the Verkhovna Rada Administration, the National Security and Defense Council, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the National Bank.
Also, travel was prohibited for people’s deputies, judges of the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, prosecutors of the Prosecutor General’s Office, heads of state-owned enterprises and state bodies whose jurisdiction extends to the entire territory of Ukraine.
Also in May, the Verkhovna Rada once again extended martial law in Ukraine and general mobilization.
