In Lviv, representatives of the Defence Forces of Ukraine set a national record by performing the sports complex called Murph en masse. The event was attended by a large number of military personnel.
This was reported by Lviv City Council, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The Murph sports challenge consists of a 1.6-kilometer run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 squats, and a final one-kilometer run. All these exercises were performed by the participants in special weighted vests weighing 10 kilograms.
Massive performance of exercises confirmed the physical training of personnel
This achievement was recorded by representatives of the National Register of Records of Ukraine as a mass exercise performance among active military personnel. The event served as a demonstration of endurance and commitment to training standards among Ukrainian defenders.
Such sports events aim not only to honor the memory of the fallen heroes, in whose honor the complex is named, but also to strengthen the fighting spirit within units. Each participant completed the full distance, despite the high level of physical load provided by the task execution protocol.
