Investors paid 28 times the starting price for a property complex in Cherkasy

The State Property Fund of Ukraine sold assets worth 257.8 million UAH through auctions in August. A total of 43 successful auctions were conducted via the Prozorro.Sale system. This was reported by Delo.ua citing the State Property Fund of Ukraine, according to the portal PromPolitInform.

A total of 192 participants competed for state assets throughout the last month of summer. Due to competitive bidding, the average sale price of the objects increased by 3.24 times compared to the initial valuation of 79.4 million UAH.

The most expensive lot in Cherkasy

The highest price surge was recorded during the sale of a 3/10 stake in a building complex located in Cherkasy. During the bidding process, the asset’s final value jumped from an initial 2.59 million UAH to 72.13 million UAH, representing a 28-fold increase.

The Fund emphasized that disposing of state property through electronic platforms fosters investment, stimulates business growth, and increases state budget revenues. Every auction helps improve the efficiency of state resource management.

Autumn plans and large-scale privatization

For September and October, 94 new privatization auctions have already been announced in the Prozorro.Sale system, with a total starting value of 5.45 billion UAH.

In total, the Fund expects to attract between 7 and 9 billion UAH to the state budget from privatization by the end of 2026. The department is focusing on large-scale privatization projects, including the Odesa Port Plant and the confiscated Ocean Plaza shopping center.
