An unmanned aerial vehicle hit the administrative building on Volodymyrska Street
A Russian drone hit the central building of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv on Volodymyrska Street. The attack resulted in damage to the premises, and emergency services are working at the site. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The unmanned aerial vehicle strike targeted the office of SBU Head Oleksandr Poklad, located in the building opposite Saint Sophia Cathedral. The consequences of the incident and the need for countermeasures were discussed during a conversation between the head of state and the intelligence chief.
All citizens injured in the attack will be provided with medical and other necessary assistance. Rescue and emergency units are currently finishing work at the site.
A symmetric response to the attack
The President has tasked the SBU head with preparing a significant response to the actions of the Russian occupiers. It is expected that these measures will be reciprocal in nature, with Ukrainian Armed Forces units involved in the operation.
The implementation of the response will begin once all preparatory processes are complete. No precise timeline for the counter-actions has been released at this time.
