The US plans to return to a trilateral negotiation format with Ukraine and Russia
Donald Trump has ordered the development of a special proposal to end military operations and establish long-term peace. Advisor Jared Kushner stated that the initiative aims for systematic negotiations following the cessation of hostilities. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Crimean Wind.
In addition to Kushner, Steve Witkoff is involved in drafting the document. The team has been tasked with preparing solutions that will ensure regional stability rather than just a temporary ceasefire.
Future negotiation format
The US political leadership intends to resume consultations in a trilateral mode. This model provides for the direct participation of representatives from Ukraine, the United States, and the Russian Federation.
As Jared Kushner noted, a similar dialogue was already employed about six months ago. He also described recent contacts with Vladimir Putin as constructive for the ongoing process.
