Gas Tariff from November 1: How Much Ukrainians Will Pay

Current prices for household consumers will remain unchanged until the end of April

Starting November 1, the natural gas price for household consumers in Ukraine will not change. Naftogaz clients will continue paying 7.96 hryvnias per cubic meter. This was reported by Socportal citing the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, according to the portal PromPolitInform.

The Government of Ukraine decided to extend public service obligations on the natural gas market until the end of March next year. This ensures the heating season will begin without any revision of energy prices for the population. The Cabinet of Ministers emphasized that maintaining the current rates is guaranteed throughout the entire winter period.

Current Supplier Tariffs

The majority of household consumers receive services from the gas supply company Naftogaz of Ukraine. For them, the Fixed tariff plan is set at 7.96 hryvnias per cubic meter, including value-added tax. Company documents confirm that this price is approved through April 30, 2027, inclusively.

Meanwhile, other suppliers operate on the Ukrainian market offering their own service terms. The final cost for a specific household depends on the company with which the respective agreement was signed. At the same time, the vast majority of citizens use the state supplier’s offer.

Monthly Payment Calculation

Consumers do not need to submit additional applications or re-sign existing documents due to the beginning of November. Provision of services under the fixed plan continues automatically for all active clients. Payment is calculated exclusively based on the volume of fuel consumed during the month.

The cost of ten cubic meters amounts to 79.60 hryvnias, while fifty cubic meters will cost 398 hryvnias. Using one hundred cubic meters will equal 796 hryvnias, and two hundred cubic meters will cost 1592 hryvnias. A separate distribution network service fee is added to these amounts and transferred to gas distribution system operators.
