The payment is granted to non-working individuals with dependents
Non-working pensioners raising minor children are entitled to a special allowance for their payments. A government resolution extends this provision to various types of pensions, including length of service pensions. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing information from Pension Fund of Ukraine.
The right to additional funds belongs to individuals who are not employed and are not engaged in entrepreneurial activity. Legislation allows processing allowances for recipients of payments under compulsory insurance and former military personnel.
Conditions for granting additional payments
The accrual procedure is regulated by Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Resolution No. 654 dated July 16, 2008. This regulatory act provides for the support of citizens who have minor children in their care.
A mandatory requirement for maintaining financial assistance is the absence of official employment. In the event of employment or registration as a sole proprietor, the transfer of funds is terminated automatically.
