Beneficiaries can receive a discount on utility bills at their actual location
Citizens of Ukraine have the right to receive subsidies for housing and utility services not only at their place of registration but also at their actual address. To confirm this information, relevant official documents must be submitted to the Pension Fund of Ukraine. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing information from Pension Fund of Ukraine.
The receipt of state subsidies for utility bills is regulated by data entered into the Register of Individuals Eligible for Benefits. According to government resolution No. 117, financial assistance can be accrued both at the place of registration and at the person’s actual place of residence.
To receive the subsidy at an actual address, the applicant must submit documents verifying this fact. This can include a certificate confirming registration as an internally displaced person or another official document, such as a housing rental agreement.
In situations where a citizen does not possess documents directly verifying their place of residence, the procedure allows for the creation of an assessment report on the household’s material and living conditions. Such a document is prepared by an official of the executive body of the village, settlement, or city council of the corresponding territorial community.
