Distribution system operators are required to include a customer survey on the back of the invoices
The National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission (NEURC) has mandated gas distribution system operators to include a special information block in the November 2026 invoices. Consumers will be invited to participate in a survey regarding the quality of services provided. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing information from NEURC.
The regulator adopted this decision in accordance with the provisions of the Gas Distribution Systems Code. Under the rules updated in April of this year, energy companies must integrate text into payment documents that encourages customer feedback.
Purpose of gathering consumer feedback
The block specified by the commission states that customer opinion is essential for evaluating service standards. Service providers and suppliers rely on receiving data that will help improve the quality of service for the population.
Feedback tools
To participate in the survey, consumers will be encouraged to use their Personal Account, follow the provided link, or scan the corresponding QR code. This information must be placed on the reverse side of the natural gas distribution bills generated for payment in November 2026.
