Ukraine uses domestically produced ballistic missile against Russia for the first time, FirePoint says

The FP-7 tactical missile has a reported operational range of up to 300 kilometers

Ukraine carried out its first combat employment of a domestically developed ballistic missile against targets inside Russia. The announcement was made by the defense manufacturer FirePoint. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Crimean Wind, based on data from FirePoint.

The defense enterprise developed the FP-7 tactical missile, which is capable of reaching targets at a distance of up to 300 kilometers. The landmark combat use of this armament was announced by company Chief Executive Officer Iryna Terekh.

This marks the initial instance of a Ukrainian-made ballistic system being deployed successfully against military targets within enemy territory. Developers continue upgrading their technology to enhance the combat capabilities of the defense forces.

The company head also announced the upcoming release of a modified version featuring an extended operational range. The updated iteration is scheduled to be unveiled before the end of the current year.
