Restrictions for industrial and residential consumers will remain in effect throughout the day
On October 15, forced electricity consumption restriction measures will be applied in parts of Ukraine due to the consequences of Russian missile and drone attacks on energy facilities. The measures apply to both businesses and household consumers. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Ukrenergo.
Restrictions for enterprises and businesses will be in effect from 06:00 to 23:59. During this period, capacity limitation schedules will be applied.
Schedules for Household Consumers
Hourly blackout schedules will also be introduced for all categories of consumers. These measures will last from 06:00 to 23:59 in the volume of 0.5 to 1.5 stages.
Reasons and Recommendations
The main reason for implementing restrictions is the aftermath of Russian airstrikes on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. The situation in the power grid may dynamically change due to ongoing shelling by the russian federation.
Citizens and business representatives are urged to monitor updates and individual outage schedules directly on the official pages of distribution system operators in their respective regions. When electricity is restored according to the schedule, consumers are asked to use electricity sparingly to help stabilize the power system.
