The Russian army used over 9 thousand kamikaze drones and dropped hundreds of aerial bombs
Over the past day, units of the Russian army lost 2100 personnel and a significant amount of equipment. There were 204 combat engagements on the frontline, during which the enemy actively used aviation and strike drones. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Total enemy losses over the last day included 24 artillery systems, four armored combat vehicles, and three air defense systems. In addition, Ukrainian soldiers neutralized six ground-based robotic complexes, 1636 unmanned aerial vehicles, 332 units of automotive equipment, and three units of special equipment belonging to the occupation forces.
Intensity of enemy attacks
Over the past day, Russian forces launched one missile strike and conducted 82 airstrikes. During these operations, the invaders dropped 273 guided aerial bombs on Ukrainian defensive positions and settlements. The total number of enemy attacks using various types of weaponry, including multiple launch rocket systems, reached 3050 incidents.
The enemy showed significant activity in the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk sectors, where 21 and 30 attacks were recorded respectively. In the Kupiansk sector, the occupiers attempted 11 times to improve their positions, while in the Huliaipole sector, they attacked Ukrainian fortifications nine times.
Situation in the northern and southern sectors
In the North-Slobozhanske and Kursk sectors, the invaders carried out three assault operations accompanied by airstrikes and heavy shelling. The Defense Forces units in the South-Slobozhanske sector repelled two enemy attacks towards Hrafske. In other areas, particularly in the Lyman and Sloviansk sectors, enemy attempts to break through the defenses were also stopped by Ukrainian units.
The Air Force of the Defense Forces struck an area where the occupiers’ personnel were concentrated. In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, the situation remains under control; no signs of the enemy preparing for offensive operations in these sectors have been observed.
