Electricity consumption in Ukraine increased by 6.7% on September 1 compared to the previous day due to cloudy weather. Additionally, severe weather has left 188 settlements in the Sumy region without power.

As of September 1, 2026, existing electricity, gas, and water supply tariffs remain in place for household consumers in Ukraine. The government has not made any decisions regarding the revision of prices for these utility services.
