Ukrainians will be able to submit applications for child benefits online.
The government is working on a technical solution. This was announced by Social Policy Minister Denys Ulyutin during Government Question Time in the Verkhovna Rada, Gazeta.ua reports. PromPolitInform reports.
In January, the government promised that maternity benefits and compensation for the “Baby Packaging” service would be available for application through the websites of the Ministry of Social Policy and the Pension Fund.
Ulyutin explained that the announced technical feasibility applies to:
– maternity benefits;
– child care benefits up to one year;
– the “i Yasla” program.
Ulyutin clarified that the government has authorized applications for child benefits to be submitted through Administrative Service Centers and community representative centers.
“My colleagues and I are currently working on the technical feasibility of submitting such an application. “I think we’ll be able to do this in the near future,” the head of the Ministry of Social Policy stated.
The government hopes that this innovation will reduce the burden on the Pension Fund.
