The Armed Forces of Ukraine denied fakes about the mass mobilization of women and initiated changes in the “Oberig” system

The Land Forces Command has addressed the General Staff and the Ministry of Defense with a number of proposals that should eliminate shortcomings in the electronic register of conscripts.

The Land Forces are not preparing for the mobilization of women and are not developing any mechanisms that indicate the intention to implement such a plan. This, Detector Media informs, is stated in a statement on the page of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook. The PromPolitInform portal reports.

“In recent days, reports have begun to appear in the Ukrainian media and the Internet space about the alleged preparation for the mobilization of women into the army. This information is baseless, manipulative and is used by the enemy to undermine mobilization processes, as well as discredit the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

The military noted that there have been no changes in the legislation of Ukraine regarding the regulation of the mobilization process. Women, as before, can join the Armed Forces of Ukraine exclusively at their own request, and only citizens with medical and pharmaceutical education should register for military registration.

The Land Forces reported that several Ukrainian women were mistakenly registered without having the appropriate education. The Land Forces Command conducted an internal investigation and found that the false information was entered into the system in 2021.

“At the same time, it is impossible to change such information in the relevant CCC and SP. In the ICS “Oberig” there is no technical implementation of the possibility of destroying information about citizens of Ukraine who are not conscripts, military conscripts and reservists due to inconsistency of regulatory legal acts,” the Armed Forces emphasized.

The Land Forces Command has addressed the General Staff and the Ministry of Defense with a number of proposals to eliminate gaps and shortcomings in the “Oberig” system.

This important issue is under constant control, and all identified inconsistencies are analyzed in detail. The Land Forces Command is open to dialogue and is interested in eliminating this problem.
