On August 6, Kyiv region declared a day of mourning for 16 victims of the Russian missile attack. This was reported by the Kyiv regional military administration, Ukrainian News reports. The PromPolitInform portal informs.
As a sign of mourning, the State Flags of Ukraine will be flown at half-mast, and entertainment events will be limited.
Consequences of the attack
As of 12:00, it is known that the massive Russian strike killed 16 people, and injured 36 more.
The Brovary district suffered the most. Here, the enemy killed 10 people, and injured 16 more. 19 objects were damaged: seven warehouses, a production facility, three private households, a greenhouse and seven trucks.
In Buchansky district, 5 people were killed, 16 were injured. 40 objects were damaged: five warehouses, a private household and 34 vehicles.
In Fastivsky district, 1 person was killed, 4 were injured. 19 objects were damaged: a warehouse and 18 vehicles.
In total, 78 objects were damaged in the Kyiv region, including 13 warehouses.
