The number of injured as a result of the night attack on Kyiv on July 19 has increased to 17, one woman died – this is confirmed data from the Kyiv City Military Administration. More than 10 victims remain in hospitals, the condition of three is assessed by doctors as serious. In terms of the number of ballistic missiles, this attack became the largest for the capital during the full-scale war, according to the plot of the telethon “United News”. KyivNews informs, the PromPolitInform portal reports.
How many victims and what condition they are in
Interim acting head of the KMVA Andriy Tkachev clarified during a telethon: as of the afternoon, one person was killed and 17 injured. This is more than was reported in the morning, when doctors said 15 people were injured. More than ten people are in medical institutions, three of them in serious condition.
More than 22 houses and 47 cars
According to Andriy Tkachev, destruction was recorded in four districts, with Solomyanskyi and Shevchenkivskyi being the worst affected, with liquidation measures still ongoing there. In total, more than 22 residential buildings and 47 cars were damaged, as well as transport infrastructure: broken tram contact networks and a damaged subway lobby. Bus routes have already been cleared and restored, tram tracks are still being repaired. In Lukyanivka, where the enemy is targeting not for the first time, one of the missiles hit an underpass. The Lukyanivska metro station, which was closed due to damage to the lobby, was operational again in the evening.
What the Air Force says
According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during the night Russia used 166 air attack means – 41 missiles of various types and 125 strike drones, the main direction of the strike was Kyiv. 18 missiles were neutralized, including 17 ballistic “Iskander-M”, and 108 drones. Three anti-ship missiles “Onyx” could not be shot down. 23 missiles and 10 strike drones were previously recorded hitting 20 locations.
As reported, the Russians completely destroyed the factory and warehouses of the UKRTAC company and the logistics hub of the AMTEL company.
