On the night of April 19, the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces neutralized 203 strike drones with which Russia attacked Ukraine, but it was not possible to avoid hits and damage as a result of the attack, the Ukrainian Air Force reported. The PromPolitInform portal informs.
Thus, from the evening of April 18 until the morning, the Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with 236 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas type and drones of other types, of which about 150 were “Shaheeds”.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
“32 strike UAVs were recorded hitting 18 locations, as well as falling debris at 8 locations,” the Air Force reported.
