On the night of February 14, Russian occupation forces launched a ballistic missile and 112 drones of various types against Ukraine. Air defense forces managed to neutralize most of the enemy targets. According to the PromPolitInform portal, the press service of the Ukrainian Air Force reported this.
The launches were carried out from Kursk, Orel, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as the temporarily occupied areas of Donbas and Crimea.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems, and mobile fire teams of the Ukrainian Defense Forces were deployed to repel the air attack. “According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m., air defense forces have shot down or suppressed 91 enemy Shahed, Gerber, Italmas, and other types of UAVs,” the statement reads.
At the same time, 18 strikes by attack UAVs were recorded in 11 locations. Debris from downed targets was also reported falling in two other locations.
The attack continues, so citizens are urged to promptly respond to air raid sirens and take shelter.
