Since the evening of April 19, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with 142 shock UAVs of the Shahed type (including jet), Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones. About 100 of them are “shaheds.”
This was reported by the Telegram of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
Launches are recorded from the following directions:
Kursk, Bryansk, Orel, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russian Federation;
TOT Donetsk;
Guards – TOT AR of Crimea.
Air defense operation
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, EW units and unmanned systems, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 113 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerber, Italmas type and other types of drones in the north, south and east of the country.
A hit of 28 shock UAVs at 18 locations was recorded, as well as a fall of downed (debris) at 6 locations.
“The attack continues, in the airspace of several enemy UAVs. Follow the safety rules,” – noted in the Air Force.
