Since the evening of April 20, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 143 attack UAVs of the Shahed, Gerber, Italmas type and other types of drones (about 80 of them are “shaheds”).
This was reported in the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
The enemy launched ballistic missiles from the Kursk region. Launches of shock UAVs are recorded from the following directions:
Kursk Bryansk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russian Federation;
Guards, – TOT AR of Crimea;
TOT Donetsk.
Air defense operation
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, EW units and unmanned systems, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 116 enemy UAVs such as Shahed, Gerber, Italmas and other types of drones in the north, south and east of the country.
A hit of 22 shock UAVs at 17 locations was recorded, as well as a fall of downed (debris) at 7 locations.
“The attack continues, in the airspace of enemy UAVs. Follow the safety rules,” the Air Force noted.
