On the night of April 30, Russia launched a combined ballistic missile attack and more than 200 UAVs. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed or suppressed 172 drones.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, informs the portal PromPolitInform.
Launches of the Iskander-M missile were recorded from the Rostov region. UAVs attacked Ukraine with:
Kursk, Bryansk, Shatalovo, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russian Federation;
TOT Guards – TOT AR Crimea.
Air defense operation
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, EW units and unmanned systems, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 172 enemy UAVs such as Shahed, Gerber, Italmas and other types of drones in the north, south, west and east of the country.
A ballistic missile and 32 attack UAVs hit 22 locations, as well as a fall of downed (debris) at 9 locations.
“The attack continues, in the airspace of several enemy UAVs. Follow the safety rules,” the Air Force stressed.
