The united mining and processing complex Metinvest, which includes the Northern, Central and Ingulets mining and processing complexes, paid UAH 1.3 billion in taxes and fees to the budgets of all levels in the first three months of this year. This is UAH 200 million more compared to the same period last year, writes AgroNews. The PromPolitInform portal reports.
The largest deductions by the combined mining and quarrying complex in the first quarter were: payment for the use of subsoil – UAH 665 million, single social contribution – UAH 191 million and personal income tax – UAH 163 million. Also, a significant part of the contributions of the Kryvyi Rih mining and quarrying complexes is land payment and military levy.
“The combined mining and quarrying complex of Metinvest is an example of resilience. Despite the turbulence in international markets, extremely difficult working conditions during shelling and blackouts, we remain the pillar of the country. Thanks to the experience and professionalism of our specialists, we quickly adapted to work in new conditions: we fulfill all the tasks set and invest in future strategic projects. We also continue to provide assistance to Kryvyi Rih and surrounding communities. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Metinvest’s mining and processing plants have already paid UAH 21.4 billion, taking into account the figures for the first quarter of this year,” said Igor Tonev, General Director of the United Mining and Processing Company Metinvest.
