Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed with French leader Emmanuel Macron participation in the anti-ballistic coalition and assistance to Ukraine with air defense. Zn,ua reports, the PromPolitInform portal reports.
According to him, France condemns Russian attacks on civilians and is ready to strengthen joint defense against all threats.
“This is a strong decision and an important step. We also discussed strengthening our capabilities to repel Russian attacks now. Thank you for your readiness to strengthen our air defense,” Zelensky emphasized.
Macron also supported the opening of all clusters in the negotiations on Ukraine’s accession to the EU. In addition, the parties agreed to coordinate efforts in cooperation with African countries, where Macron recently visited.
Earlier, Zelensky reported that the Russian Federation was trying to drag Belarus into war in order to attack northern Ukraine or NATO.
