Over the past day, Russian occupiers launched strikes on Kharkiv and 11 other settlements in Kharkiv Oblast. As a result of enemy shelling with various types of weaponry, seven civilians were injured and traumatized, including a child. This was reported by Ukrinform citing Oleh Syniehubov, according to the portal PromPolitInform.
The highest number of casualties was reported during strikes on Izium, where a 9-year-old boy and an 18-year-old youth were injured. Four more people — two women aged 54 and 77, as well as two men aged 57 and 71 — suffered acute stress reactions. In addition, a 28-year-old man was injured in the village of Zolochiv, and medics provided care to a 15-year-old teenager injured several days earlier in the village of Vesele in the Lozova hromada.
The enemy attacked the regional capital with drones, striking the Industrialnyi district of the city, where a gas station was damaged as a result of the hits. In total, over the past day, the invaders launched one missile, multiple launch rocket systems, two guided aerial bombs, three Molniya-type drones, and 77 other UAVs of unidentified types against the region.
Destruction of civilian and municipal infrastructure
As a result of enemy attacks, several civilian facilities were damaged across different districts of the region. In the Bohodukhiv district, a warehouse building in Kolomak and a vehicle in Zolochiv were damaged, while in the Chuhuiv district, a private residential house in the village of Buhaivka was hit.
Damage to private housing and power infrastructure was also recorded across regional districts. Specifically, in the village of Husarivka, shelling damaged power lines and three houses; in Verbivka, two houses, an outbuilding, and two cars were damaged; and in Izium itself, five private houses were struck. Additionally, in the Lozova district, an educational facility in Zlatopil and a gas station in Blyzniuky were damaged.
Meanwhile, the evacuation of the civilian population from high-risk zones continues in the region. Over the past day, the transit evacuation point in Lozova assisted 286 people, bringing the total number of registered citizens at this hub to 53,163 since it began operations.
