On the night of April 27, 2026, Russian troops carried out a large-scale attack on the territory of Ukraine, using 94 drones of various types. Despite the effective work of air defense, which destroyed most of the targets, hit residential buildings and infrastructure, which led to casualties in several areas.
According to the Air Force, from the evening of April 26, the enemy launched shock UAVs of the Shahed type (in particular jet models), Gerbera, Italmas and other drones from Kursk, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Shatalovo and the occupied Crimea, informs the PromPolitInform portal.
As of 09:00, air defense, aviation, electronic warfare and mobile fire groups destroyed or suppressed 74 enemy UAVs. Nevertheless, 20 drones hit targets in 15 locations, and debris from downed vehicles fell in 11 places.
The Russians attacked Ukrainian towns and villages overnight. There is damage to residential buildings, civilian infrastructure, injured and dead. The consequences of enemy strikes were told in local administrations.
Odessa
On the night of April 27, the Russians massively attacked Odessa with drones. As of the morning, it is known about 11 victims, including 2 children. All provide the necessary medical care, reported in the Odessa OVA.
It is noted that in three areas of the city damaged private cars, houses and infrastructure: hotel, funicular, warehouses. Many buildings have broken windows. The port territory was also damaged.
Operational headquarters are deployed on the ground. All relevant and communal services are working on the elimination of consequences. Law enforcement agencies document the next war crimes of the Russian Federation against the civilian population of Odessa region.
Zaporozhye
As a result of an enemy attack in the Zaporizhzhya region, a 59-year-old man died. In total, during the day, the invaders inflicted 629 strikes on 45 settlements of the Zaporizhzhya region. There were 50 reports of damage to housing and infrastructure, the OVA said.As of 10 o’clock in the morning, an air alarm in the area continues.
Kharkiv
During the past day, 8 settlements of the Kharkov region were subjected to enemy attacks. There were no casualties as a result of the shelling. The enemy actively used various types of weapons in the Kharkiv region – KABs and UAVs. Damaged and destroyed civilian infrastructure and residential buildings in Bogodukhovsky, Kupyansky, Izyumsky Kharkov, Chuguevsky meadows. Fortunately, there are no victims, noted in the Kharkov OVA.
Chernihiv
Today, April 27, in the morning, the Russians fired at Koryukovka, Chernihiv region, the OVA said.18 strike drones were used for this attack. The target was enterprises: one – woodworking, the other produced wallpaper. We already know about two wounded men. The 42-year-old victim has thermal burns. An 81-year-old man was hospitalized with a shrapnel wound. Both are in a state of moderate severity. Damaged businesses, houses and a shop. Firefighters work at the arrival sites.
In total, during the day there were 10 attacks, 26 explosions were heard. In the Koryukovsky and Chernihiv districts there were hits in critical infrastructure, in the Nezhin region – in the transport infrastructure, and in Semenovka, Novgorod-Seversky district, a boiler room was damaged.
On Sunday, April 26, the Sumy region was subjected to a massive attack by Russian drones. The air alarm rang for almost 15 hours.
On April 26, the Russians attacked Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, killing two people. Another was injured.
