Ukrzaliznytsia has changed the routes of commuter trains heading to Kyiv due to infrastructure damage caused by a night attack. This is reported by the portal PromPolitInform, citing the Telegram channel of Ukrzaliznytsiu.
Ukrzaliznytsia has introduced operational changes to the movement of commuter trains towards the capital. This is due to infrastructure damage resulting from a night attack on Kyiv and the Kyiv region.
On August 20, routes No. 6903 and No. 6905 Nizhyn — Bobryk instead of Nizhyn — Kyiv, and No. 6902 and No. 6906 Bobryk — Nizhyn instead of Kyiv — Nizhyn, will run on a changed route.
Regional trains have also changed their direction
Routes No. 893 Konotop — Bobryk instead of Konotop — Kyiv and No. 894 Bobryk — Nizhyn instead of Kyiv — Nizhyn have changed their direction.
Additionally, today, trips No. 6909 and No. 6911 Nizhyn — Kyiv-Volynskyi and No. 6910 Kyiv-Volynskyi — Nizhyn will not be carried out.
Further delays due to security risks are possible
The company warned that throughout the day, additional changes on other sections and delays in the movement of commuter trains due to security reasons are possible.
In case of an air raid alert, train movement will be restored only after the threat has passed.
