Criteria for vehicle taxation
The transport tax is designed for passenger cars that are no older than five years, with a price exceeding 375 minimum wages as of January 1. The list of vehicles subject to taxation is annually formed by the Ministry of Economy.
When determining the value of a car, its make, model, year of manufacture, fuel characteristics, and engine displacement are taken into account. This year, 1,281 car models have been included in the list of objects subject to taxation.
