Figure of the day: 227 billion UAH in PIT collected by local budgets in 8M 2026
Between January and August 2026, Ukraine’s local budgets collected 378.6 billion UAH in tax revenues. This figure represents a 16.5% increase compared to the same period last year. Personal income tax served as the primary driver of revenue growth.
Owners of luxury cars paid over 214 million hryvnias in tax to the budget
During the first seven months of 2026, owners of expensive cars directed 214.2 million hryvnias of transport tax to local budgets. In total, 11.5 thousand people made the payment.

During January – July 2026, local budgets of Ukraine received UAH 324.9 billion in taxes and fees. This figure increased by 16% compared to the same period last year.
